Okay, I am really, really mad about this. I think it's appalling and I don't know how they intend to justify it, or if they will even bother. I thought they might not be doing it in the UK but now I think that they are.

And now I don't want to buy from them anymore and this is really upsetting me because I love amazon and think they are awesome and also? I really rely on them because I can't get half of what I buy on amazon anywhere else. FAIL.

I read this elsewhere, as well. I actually cannot believe they've done this. How is it possible for this kind of discrimination to still exist today. It's really horrifying. Do you think anyone will get through to them to change things? Can they be sued? Boycott?

It's modern day book burning, is what it is. :( People are boycotting and sending emails and spamming the web. I am going to boycot and may delete my account. My favorite part of the whole situation is that the CEO is like "It's gremlins! It's a glitch in the system! Totally not our fault!" ...? We're not stupid, Amazon, and you've been doing this since the end of January. Fuckers.

:( Like I said to Bergie, this is inexcusable censorship. The whole thing is becoming a deeper and deeper hole, and so far Amazon has been giving anyone who approaches them about it the runaround. No one's gotten a straight answer, there hasn't been any kind of public announcement, or more importantly, an apology. I'm getting more pissed off the longer this thing drags on.

I'm boycotting because I only buy from them maybe once or twice a year and it doesn't really affect me all that much. But I thought of you when this whole thing broke because I know how often you use it. :( Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Also, I think you should send what you just wrote me to them in an email. I think it's good for them to hear protests from as many folks as possible.
