Uncle Earl is a band I discovered by accident at work one day. They are a bluegrass/folk group comprised of four women, one of whom is Abigail Washburn, a performer I've been a fan of for quite awhile. This is one of the "prettiest" songs I've heard in a long long time. The melody is perfect.

They came into work when they released "She Waits for Night," and I have an autographed copy of the CD around here somewhere. I think my fave is "Take These Chains."

I had an opportunity a few years ago to see a free show they performed in Bend, but I couldn't make the drive due to car troubles. I really wish I'd gone, though. That's awesome that they visited your workplace!
