debsI heard this song in my car on the way to work this morning and it dropped me right back into high school when my friend Shauna & I would perform it in the car/at the park/wherever we could. We were pretty slick, and I still have all the words memorized.

Mom & I finally caught up with Jax & the boys tonight. I may have made the victory arms when I saw Mitch Pileggi's name appear in the credits, because the more time he spends on SoA, the less time he will spend making me hate my first love. Plus, Darby's a better character than Grandpa Campbell anyway. TEAM DARBY. I told my Mom tonight that every time I see him I'm hit with a sudden dose of "He-Man"; not the character necessarily, but I feel like he should be on He-Man or something. It's weird. She told me I should write him a fan letter telling him of this and then mentioned that she is intrigued by his pointy ears. "I've never SEEN ears that pointy!" <-- Direct quote. I think together we have concocted the creepiest fan letter ever. :P
I love everything about this show, except for Jax's idiotic decision to sleep with porn girl. I hope he gets a nasty disease for that bs.

Date: 2010-10-20 03:15 am (UTC)This is going to sound a bit odd, but every time I see you onscreen--and I see you a lot--I feel like you should be in He-Man. Not the cartoon, mind you, and not as the title character, but something about you just screams "Master of the Universe" to me. Of course, you also have that evil vibe that would lend itself well to one of Skeletor's henchmen. Just something to keep in mind for the future.

These girls are really sleazy, all they just say is "please me, or spend some time and rock a rhyme, I said "it's not that easy!"
This girl named Cheryl follows Darryl every gig we play, then D dissed her and dismissed her now she's jockin' Jay!

I want to order some of that rapping paper just so I can frame it and hang it on the wall of my hypothetical dining room that I will one day hypothetically have.

I would totally read TLU for book club. You bought it for me ages ago and it's still sitting unread on my shelf because I suck. I'm in the process of trying to let go of most of my kid toys. The stuffed animals are the hardest and I'm not ready to wade through them yet. I just want my He-Man & She-Ra dolls back because they would be collector's items now. Swift Wind! S/He was great! My friend Skif had Castle Greyskull, which was just the most amazing thing ever. As a five year old I was SO JEALOUS.
