Click the Configure/Remove link in the upper right. On the Configuration page, scroll down and uncheck the boxes for the navigation bar.
Seriously. This thing is ugly and I'm full of rage because it was turned on without my consent ... or, as far as I've seen, notification of any kind. Perhaps I will find an angry caracal and mail it to LJ headquarters.

It is SO ugly. I too am full of rage. I don't like it when I'm perusing other people's flists and they have it, I really don't want it on my page. I'll help pay for postage on an angry caracal package.
In completely unrelated news, what movies are you and Kevin watching tonight? Just curious. I think I may give in and watch The Notebook. I caught about two minutes of it on TV last night, and Ryan Gosling is so much like Nate it hurts a little bit.
I love inserting "NUUUU!" into appropriate places in film and television. Never ceases to be funny. :D
Does LJ think that it's going to win friends and influence users by throwing this obviously unwanted crap at us? They've been trying to push this navigation bar thing on us for months...you'd think they'd realize by now that we don't want it.
Thank god someone knew. I couldn't face to look at the ugly ass thing to figure it out. Totally in for some postage. I'll throw in some rotting veggies or something.
Also, the tv has just told me that Kate B. wears a size smaller than 0. If that's right it's wrong in so many ways.
