Song of the day
Jan. 3rd, 2009 02:25 pmNot doing any better today.
Smoke don't rise, fuel don't burn
Sun don't shine no more
Late one night, sorrow comes 'round
Scratchin' at my door
But I cut my hands, break my back
Dragging this bag of stones
Til they bury me down beneath the ground
With the dust and rattlin' bones
"Rattlin' Bones" by Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson
(however, i did put down the deposit on a honda civic which should be here monday.)

Date: 2009-01-04 05:39 pm (UTC)I know I take everything too much to heart, but that's the way I am. I wish I could let things just roll of my back instead of bogging me down for ages. :(
And I think you're amazing, and I'm so grateful to have you in my life. *transatlantic hugs right back* Just knowing you're here is a big help.
Reasons I'm buying Honda:
1. I'm tired of this car thing and ready to be done now.
2. It was the nicest drive, I think, and I can get a black exterior and interior, although the gentleman who sold us the car was like "you live in perpetual rain, WHY on EARTH would you want a black car?" Because I DO, dude. Let it go.
3. Said car salesman not only agreed with me on the unnecessary RPM dial, but whinged about it on his own it as well. Good sale.
It's more money than I wanted to spend, but apparently my credit score is awesome, and my folks are going to lend me the rest.
