Asylum Day II: In which Jared Padalecki owns me

I'll do a proper post when I get home, I promise. For now, here is perhaps my favorite moment from Asylum III thus far.

We were q-ing for our Jared autographs yesterday, and I had just reached him when the following happened:

Jared: Misha! You sign too big!
Misha, sitting across the room, throws something at us, which Jared catches. Turns out it's a tiny piece of gum
Jared: I caught it! *examines gum* Did you lick it?! Is it dirty?! *pops gum in mouth* Nice toss!

At which point he looked up at me sheepishly, smiled, and said "I'm sorry." Oh Jared, do not be sorry. We will be repeating "Did you lick it? Is it dirty?" for the rest of the summer. :D

He's so ridiculously lovely in person. Full report on the con when I get back to the states.

Oh man, the memories. Asylum, while full of KITTY VOMIT was also full of joy like Misha & Jared and DID YOU TOUCH IT, IS IT DIRTY!!?!? ♥ Jared made my heart grow three sizes that day. And he ruined my life. Bless him.

sadly, i will probably buy an asylum dvd if they release them, even though they don't work on my dvd player. :(

Honestly, as crap as a lot of those convention experiences were, I still look back on them with only slightly tempered fondness. I watched the video Kirsty sent with her photos yesterday (I can only see it on my computer, for great woe) but it made me all nostalgic and woobie-faced for our August trip. That was amazing and it never would've happened without Supernatural. I am going to have to write those folks a letter, which I will regret later. :)

DIRTY. All those boys make me way too happy. I hope chicon goes okay; I have fear.

I like to think our crazy makes us adorable. *padasnugs*
