Really rough day. I needed the fragility of home-state hero, Laura Gibson. I was introduced to Laura's music when she opened for Josh Ritter a couple years ago on his solo acoustic tour. Every one of her songs tells a brittle and beautiful story. These are just the ones I'm enamored with at the moment.

You know, I spent like 8+ hours shopping for house stuff, which is less fun than it sounds. I think at least 1/2 of that time was spent trying to find the correct garbage can to prevent the ant infestation that seems to be going on in my kitchen. Awesome.

I MISS YOU!!! Seriously, we need to get together. Like how about yesterday? Truly, if it's nice, I'm thinking tomorrow (Sunday) morning. You could come over and we could do a walk by the Willamette? I'll likely be sleeping in...I'll give you a call, though. Maybe 9-9:30 ish?
